The RACQ or the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland is probably one of the largest car insurers in Queensland. Its history can be traced back in 1905 when it was established as a motoring club and mutual organisation.

In 1971, the RACQ Insurance Pty Limited was established. In 1995, RACQ entered into joint venture with GIO Australia and it was only in 1996 when RACQ-GIO started writing its first policies. The range of insurance products by RACQ include RACQ car insurance or RACQ motor vehicle insurance, RACQ home insurance, RACQ boat insurance, RACQ compulsory third party insurance and RACQ pet insurance.

RACQ car insurance's comprehensive motor vehicle insurance policy not only covers your car for accidental damages; it also protects your car from theft and fire damages or loss. On top of that, the same policy provides you with free hire car after an accident.

RACQ Car Insurance: Unique Vehicle Insurance

If you think that you have a unique vehicle and when RACQ car insurance agrees with you, you can get your car unique vehicle insurance. This RACQ car insurance policy covers your vehicle for loss or damages caused by an accident or theft. In addition, RACQ car insurance provides liability cover for the damages caused by your car to other people's property.

RACQ Car Insurance: Veteran and Vintage Insurance

RACQ car insurance offers veteran and vintage insurance to cover your veteran vehicles (pre-1919 models), vintage vehicles (models between 1919 and 1930) and classic and historic vehicles (at least 30 years old).

RACQ Car Insurance: Fire, Theft and Third Party Liability
